Tenerife Diving Diary September 2009
September 2009
We are seeking divers who want to progress from Open Water Diver to Divemaster.
You must be a PADI Open Water Diver, have a signed Medical dated within the last
year, must speak English and Spanish, be 18 years or above, hold a European
drivers licence, and have a willingness to learn and get involved with the
running of a PADI dive Centre.

Dive and Sea Tenerife -
We all had fun on Sunday on our Residents Boat Diving Day, we went to Punta
Rasca and then to Alien Rocks at Montana Amarilla. Diving with Nigel, Cat, Bron,
Pietro, Paulo and Pete and then off for Sunday lunch it was a beautiful day.

our Translator who speaks, English, French, German, Italian, Dutch and Spanish
and Melissa.

Congratulations to Paolo our Divemaster Intern and Pietro for the successful
completion of their Advanced Open Water Diver Course last Thursday, well done to
you both, I think the best part was watching you walk around with a towel on
your heads practising your navigation on dry land, as well as watching you
scrub the boat!!

Boat Excursion from San Miguel Marina to Playa San Juan

Dolphins
We had lots of fun on Wednesday on our Boat Excursion we travelled all the way
along the coast from San Miguel Marina to San Juan, we managed to see dolphins
at the fish farms they were playing together which was wonderful to see, we also
saw a Turtle nearby to the fish farms at El Purtito. It was a lovely relaxing
day shame about the sunshine but the sea was calm and clear.

They have gone to Abades on the boat today, Pete has reported that its
absolutely beautiful, as still as a millpond and clear as crystal!!

It was great to see Maja and Alexander take their first Open water Dive at
Yellow Mountain on Tuesday as well as lovely to have Rachel back with us for
another dive.

We had great fun on our Night Dive at Yellow Mountain. Pietro and
Martin had a great experience on their first ever night dive. We saw a huge
Octopus, Cuttlefish and lots of Eels.

We had a great surprise as we were leaving our
RIB was surrounded by a Pod of Dolphins they were amazing. What a fantastic
sight to finish off a fun dive.

Congratulations to Darren who successfully passed his PADI Open Water Course with
us last week. Scuba Sam thought you were a natural under the water and is

Water Course Today. Well done from all of the Dive and Sea Tenerife Team. We are
