Tenerife Diving Diary May 2010 

 
It was great to have Nigel back diving with us again. This time it was for some PADI continued education with the commencing of his PADI Advanced Open Water course.
First was his PADI Fish ID and the best place in Tenerife, for diving with fish, has to be Yellow Mountain.

PADI Instructor Daryl, Rob PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Ryan (PADI Divemaster) at Abades, Tenerife, Canary Islands.

Ryan, our PADI Divemaster intern, has been very busy with his PADI specialities and has completed his Wreck, Boat, Deep and PPB courses. These PADI speciality courses, along with his PADI Dry Suit course, means he has now achieved his PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, the highest non-professional PADI rating. Well done from all of us at Dive and Sea Tenerife.

Congratulations to Mark for passing his upgrade from Scuba Diver to Open Water diver last week. You did really well, and we are looking forward to seeing you back next year for some fun recreational dives!

Congratulations to Pete on passing his Spanish Boat Skippers course.

Pete passed his exams with flying colours, no mean feat if you know what Pete's Spanish language abilities are!
Pete is now one of the few PADI instructors to hold both the RYA(MCA) and Spanish skipper licence's operating in Tenerife.
We have invested a huge amount of time, and money, to ensure that all of our customers not only have fun, but are also SAFE.
New laws being introduced next year mean that all dive boats within the Canaries must have a Spanish Skippers licence.
The pictures are of part of Pete's course where he was learning about fire fighting from the Granadilla Fire-fighters.

Well done to Chris and Sarah for passing their PADI Discover Scuba Diving. You both did brilliantly. Best of luck to Sarah moving to Gran Canaria.

As usual we had a fantastic time diving with Antonio and Rafael. It was lovely to see Rafael in all his new diving equipment. Glad you had a great dive at Abades.

Brian spent a great week with us diving at Alien Rock, Yellow Mountain, Palm Mar, Punta Rasca, Pequeno Valle and The Moon Pools.

Well done to Brian who did brilliantly on his scuba tune up. It was great fun to meet you and we are glad that you enjoyed your diving with us at Alien Rock, Yellow Mountain, Palm Mar, Punta Rasca, Pequeno Valle and The Moon Pools. We look forward to seeing you back again next time you are here in Tenerife.
