The Cressi Killer is a small knife that has been successful for many years and is very much appreciated because it is easy to handle with a wonderful blade for penetrating. This beautiful knife has a total length of 180mm with a single piece of stainless steel blade of 86mm in length, 17mm width and 3-5mm in depth, one edge of the blade is a smooth for cutting and the other partly serrated. The sheath is made from plastic holding the knife in place with an elasticised band looping around the top of the grip. The Cressi Killer comes with two standard issue straps to attach it to your leg. The total weight is 300g with the knife weighing just 120g itself making it a lightweight, small, neat and therefore easy for anyone to use.
The Killer’s long running popularity and efficient
features make it an ideal knife for anyone to own.
Yellow Mountain by day offers a wide variety of species and behavioural characteristics to be seen, the same can definitely be said for a night dive at this beautiful site, only at night there is yet even more to see. Urchins that dominate the rocks by day have created a carpeted covering on the sand, creating a totally new appearance to the sea floor. The Damsel fish are no longer in the open waters but tucked into each and every crevice possible, the Pufferfish and Parrotfish are also settling down all around; all intrigued and nervous to the approaching lights of a diving torch. The swim-through displays almost a full colour spectrum of sponge species in all kinds of shapes and sizes, a beauty that is almost totally eclipsed by the daylight. Octopuses are out in the open as they are typically nocturnal, so during the day they are special to see but at night they are truly spectacular. Moray Eels peek out from their holes in the rocks, the torchlight catching their eye to shed light on their location.
Whilst looking in front of you at the
brilliance your torch illuminates, looking back behind you into the darkness is
well worth it as you will see a glow of “glittery” blue plankton trailing from
your fins, this magical sight is a perfect visual experience distinctive to a
night dive.
This month Martin will be working on his
Rescue Diver Certification.
Melissa is hoping to be a certified Divemaster at
the end of 2010.
Do you want to do something that will make you stand out from the crowd? Something that will make you feel like you have really achieved something?
And that is also a Professional
Qualification?
Even if you never work as a PADI Divemaster, for the rest of your life
you will define yourself as a PADI Dive Professional. The internship incorporates a full array of PADI courses, dive experiences and additional learning modules. Aside from being trained up to be a Divemaster, you will receive hands on experience with Dive Centre Operations, kit maintenance, leading dives, safety procedures, customer liaison, boat management and professional procedures (including attitude, insurance, sales ). You will have the opportunity of working first-hand with real students in different diving courses and PADI diving programs along-side our experienced instructors. Learning to dive is not all hard work, its fun too. Our professional scuba diving trainees programs have placed divers in diving jobs once they are completed.
So why waste your time, come and learn to be a
professional Divemaster and open the world of underwater opportunities.
