Hello again everyone,

Who can believe its March already?

We have just had a really great fun month diving, topped off by having two fantastic dives with Dolphins, one at Peqenuo Valle and the second dive at Crocodile Rock. The Dolphins were so inquisitive and amazing. “The best dive ever” was the most common comment being thrown around.

Congratulations to Andy and Dave who have both passed their PADI Rescue Diver Courses this month. We had a great day out in the ocean during the practical open water sessions.

Both worked really hard and it was certainly a worthwhile experience.

Dave who joined our 6 week Divemaster internship program has worked really hard on improving his stamina in the last few weeks, swimming everyday despite a nice cold pool!

As a result of this hard work Dave has managed to score highly on all of his stamina exercises.

Alongside all of his exercise Dave has been studying his PADI Divemaster Materials hard and has passed all of his 8 Divemaster exams. Well done Dave.

Andy has started working through the New Divemaster program; the new Divemaster program has been radically changed from the old system and is now strongly focused on promoting the development of good dive leadership skills ahead of "Instructor level" physics and physiology!!!

Other news

Remember we don’t just offer diving, we also organise discover snorkelling from age 5. You can learn to snorkel either in the swimming pool or in the ocean.

We highly recommend for individuals who have not tried snorkelling that you relax and have fun in the pool first of all before venturing out to sea.

For experienced snorkellers we can arrange boat trips to local snorkelling sites.

All snorkelling experience's include wetsuit, Snorkel, Mask and Fins.

We are also able to book for you a variety of day and night Excursions, and we are always trying to add more to our list.

Dive Equipment Review ~ Sub Gear XP Pro Fins

These are my new Fins a fantastic Christmas present, Sub Gear have tried to match the design on my 3mm and 5 mm wetsuits as previously reviewed.

I have to say that I am really impressed with the quality of products I have tried out from Sub Gear, and also the service that I have received from the suppliers.

These new XP Pro Sub Gear fins are really comfortable and light weight but still feel strong and durable. I also like the cut away toe area because it makes it extremely easy to remove the fins after a dive unlike some other more traditional options.

And as always the important bit for us girls............ they look great!

Dive Site Review ~ Crocodile Rock

This wonderful site is just a short boat ride away from San Miguel Marina.

It is ideal for divers from Discover Scuba Diving experience level to Instructors.

The site gets it name because when viewed from above it looks just like a Crocodile.

It’s a beautiful part of the bay, with Octopus, Brown & Black Moray Eels, Fangtooth Moray Eel's, Damsels, Parrot fish etc as well as being surrounded by a bed of Garden Eels.

It’s a great dive to look around all the crevices on the rock and try and find all the life that is hiding there.
